Elyse Sng

Elyse began her dance journey at a young age with classes in Ballet, Modern, Tap and Jazz. She started her Contemporary Dance training under Wong Liang Pei and Dan Kwoh at the age of 13 when she joined the modern dance club as her co-curricular activity in school. Since then, she has been under the guidance of artistic director

Dan Kwoh.

Ever since she started training competitively at the age of 14, Elyse has attained several notable awards such as the first prize at the World Ballet Grand Prix 2022 and at the International Ballet Grand Prix 2023, where she was also presented with scholarships to the Joffrey Ballet School, London Contemporary Dance School and Rambert School of Ballet and Contemporary Dance.

In the recent years, Elyse has started creating solos, duos and group pieces. Through various choreographies, she hopes for her dancers to explore the use of dynamics and flow. Elyse hopes to inspire others and to share her love for this art form with others through her pieces.
