Fiona started Chinese Dance at the age of 9 as her co-curricular activity in school. Since then, she has been trained in Ballet and Modern Jazz under June Lee, as well as Modern and Contemporary dance under renowned educators such as Xu Jie, Peter Teo, Zaki Ahmad and Dan Kwoh. She started her journey as a choreographer with student-choreographed performances in her time at Singapore Management University, as a member of SMU INDANCITY and SMU Caderas Latinas. Since then, some of her choreography works were featured at platforms such as dSPACE, a platform for budding artistes and choreographers. More recently, Fiona was part of the choreographic team behind T.R.A.C.E, a virtual contemporary dance production under SMU Arts Festival 2020 and SMU INDANCITY BEYOND 2021. Of date, Fiona completed her diploma studies in Dance Education at the University of Bath and Royal Academy of Dance (RAD). Fiona is one of the founding teacher of DANSTUDIO and has also achieved the RAD Registered Teacher status in August 2022.
