Artistic Director/Founder
Dan Kwoh
Dan Kwoh is a veteran dance educator, award-winning choreographer, and the Founder and Artistic Director of DANSTUDIO Singapore. With over 25 years of teaching experience, he has mentored thousands of students, guiding them from amateur to professional levels. His choreography has earned international acclaim, including Best Choreographer awards at the Dance Grand Prix Italia and Barcelona Dance Award. Many of his students have achieved grand awards in international contemporary solo competitions, showcasing his dedication to nurturing talent. As an Adjunct Lecturer at the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts and a sought-after guest teacher and judge, Dan continues to inspire and elevate the global dance community.

Emmett Ng
Emmett is the Business Development Head and Senior Teacher at DANSTUDIO, where he leads external partnerships and drives the expansion of innovative dance programs. Working alongside award-winning choreographers, he also teaches at several schools across Singapore, inspiring and shaping the next generation of dancers through his expertise and dedication.

Sophie Lim
Sophie Lim, a distinguished dance practitioner and choreographer, began her training in ballet, modern jazz, and tap before excelling at SOTA and NAFA, where she earned a Diploma in Dance with Dean’s List honors. Having worked with acclaimed choreographers and performed with TRDO 2nd Company, she won the Grand Prix at Masterpiece IBC 2022 for her self-choreographed contemporary solo. Now a certified teacher in Progressing Contemporary Technique and programme executive at DANSTUDIO, Sophie is dedicated to nurturing future generations with a passion for contemporary dance and excellence in technique.

Cherie Wong
Cherie began her dance journey with Classical Ballet at the age of 7 and was introduced to Contemporary during her time in School of the Arts Singapore (SOTA). In May 2023, she graduated from Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts with a Diploma in Dance. Throughout her studies, she has worked with choreographers such as Albert Tiong, Kuik Swee Boon, Jeffrey Tan, Dan Kwoh and Jenny Neo. She is currently an Artist with The Human Expression (T.H.E) Second Company, core member of HRCY, and a freelance Dance & Pilates instructor.

Tan Wan Yee
Wan Yee, a Teacher/Choreographer at DANSTUDIO and a NAFA Dance undergraduate, has won numerous top awards in Contemporary Solo, including the Senior Contemporary Grand Award at the International Ballet Grand Prix Thailand 2024. Her award-winning choreographic works reflect her creative vision and passion, inspiring others through her teaching and artistry.

Lee Xue Jing
Xue Jing is a bold Singaporean contemporary dance artist with a Master’s from Trinity Laban Conservatoire (London, UK) and a Diploma from NAFA (Singapore). She teaches and choreographs across MOE schools and studios, inspiring students as young as 2. She also engages in impactful performance projects, solidifying her presence in the dance world.

Fiona Yeo
Fiona has been part of the teaching faculty of DANSTUDIO from 2021. Since then, Fiona completed her diploma studies in Dance Education at the University of Bath and Royal Academy of Dance (RAD). She has also achieved the RAD Registered Teacher status in August 2022.
